A neighbor recommended this place. It is conveniently located in North Las Vegas. I used my Waze to find it because it is a small place and easy to miss. I went on a Thursday to make a pickup order for 1 pm on Saturday for approximately eight people. I believe it was Brandi one of the owners who suggested how many pieces of fish to get for red snapper and sol. I paid in advance for the order and a pick up on Saturday at 1 o'clock. In addition I shared with her I've never had her fish before. I'm going on a recommendation from a neighbor. She gave me a sample of sol and red snapper. The samples were just fried and regular size (it became my dinner). Very good. She indicated that that was the size of the pieces I would be receiving (15 red snapper pieces and 15 sol pieces and some extras). When I picked up the order on Saturday at 1 o'clock, my fish with hot and ready. I was given a bottle of hot sauce and a large container of tartar sauce to go. She would have given me lemons but I declined. The fried fish was a success with my family. I highly recommend Fish Cage.

I've visited this restaurant several times and have enjoyed everything I have ordered so far. My favorite is the crab balls. My only disappointment is they don't always have the crab balls. Good food.

First timer to Fish Cage... in a continuing effort to find great tastes in the Valley. Been missing my southern fried catfish and stumbled across them on the internet. The shop is tucked away in a small strip center... actually easy to miss, which would be a mistake. the ladies working the counter couldn't have been sweeter to me. I ordered the catfish nuggets and fries, plus a side of fried okra. big portions of food for the money and tasted just like back home in the Wiregrass.

The food is fried to order so the food was hot. I ordered the #1 with red snapper and fries. The fish was well seasoned but not too salty. My husband ordered the seafood combo with real catfish, shrimp, and two sides( yams and potatoes salad). The sides were just okay. The cashier was nice and friendly. They have kool-aid on the menu too. The place is small but there is one small table for 4 people to dine-in.

Had a great shrimp poor boy with fries and exceptionally great pickles. Catfish was marginal. Good chicken tenders. Great slaw. It takes awhile for your food but a big sign warns you of that! Place can use a deep cleaning and only a few chairs and one table next to a large trash can, makes it really a busy takeout joint. Recommend not dining inside. And the mason jars with colorful fluids are not shine, just Kool-aid. Bummer.

The food at the Fish Cage is always good. They are very consistent with the flavor/freshness of their food. My go to on every visit is the crab balls, they are deep fried crab cake heaven. Now, this is not a sit down and eat type restaurant, it's strictly to go. If you don't want a long wait, I suggest you call your order in ahead of time.
